Perhaps it sounds a bit sad, but anyone who has battled with Microsoft Word thinking it know better than you what your document should look like can surely understand that I am rather pleased to have had a win over Word and can now make autonumbering do what I want it to, rather than what it thinks I want.
I think this graph sums the situation up well.
Sounds trivial I know, but it will save hours at work for a bunch of people (including myself). Suck up that Bill Gates! And although it has often been a close call, I have not smashed one piece of computer hardware getting to this stage. I have however had numerous evil thoughts about what I'd like to do to Gates...
