If you have to ask why, then they probably aren't for you.
Seems Weta - the organisation that brought Peter (sorry Sir Peter) Jackson's Lord of the Rings to life - has decided to do a bit of trade on the side. Good on them - a real NZ success story. Not sure these will be on my wish list though.
An artificially augmented Iron Man suit, or a robo-suit from Avatar on the other hand...
