We've all seen Hubble pictures of beautiful galaxies with spiral arms like the stunning Pinwheel Galaxy.
But a single star with spiral arms is a first.
The spirals spans an area about twice that of the orbit of Pluto. And the irregular spirals indicate there could be two or more planetary bodies forming within the spiral arms.
The heavens above continue to amaze us...
