Territory rights bill expected to pass

The ABC is reporting that the Greens' Territory rights bill expected to pass:

"Federal Parliament is expected to pass legislation today to remove federal
ministerial power to veto territory laws."

This is good news for residents (voters) of the ACT and NT. It would show respect for the Territory Parliaments as valid Australian governments. And a long time coming.

Interestingly, if it does indeed pass, it will be the first Greens Bill to become law. That's a milestone.
