Iran parading drone 'Beast' is a major embarrassment for USA

No doubt there are a lot of very red faces in US military circles today, with the Iranian government parading an unscathed US stealth drone for the world's media.

Iran has posted a YouTube video (oh yes - the irony of them using that American service does not escape notice!) with lots of pointing and Arabic voice and captions. Someone needs to tell their PR people about the neat little Automatic Captions tool YouTube has now - no idea what they are saying.



Iran is claiming they downed the spy drone using their own electronic warfare unit (aka jamming), and that they took control of it. The Americans are claiming they simply lost control of it.

One thing is for sure - there'll be lots of questions about why the usual autodestruct didn't function, and sweating over whether this very neat gadget finds its way into the hands of the Chinese Government...
