Tweet Seats in cinemas?

News from the good ol' USA is that some cinemas are setting aside dedicated "tweet seats" - seating areas for people who insist on tweeting through the movie.

Honestly, if you are slapping down a not-inconsiderable sum of money to go see a movie and escape from the world for two or three hours, why would you spoil it by keeping one eye on your Twitter feed? And I'm pretty sure I'd be not real happy if you lit up my big screen sightline with a glowing iPad!

I'm loving the immediacy of Twitter, but I can just as easily turn it off for short bursts - to sleep for instance! Or to escape life into the warm embrace of a good movie...
