Pangaea 2.0?

So that whole continental drift thing that's been happening for a while now? As reported in our wonderful Australian science mag Cosmos, someone's actually sat down to figure out where all these continents have packed their backs and are off to.

And the news is that they've pretty much all got the same idea: "Simon - the Arctic looks nice."

Makes sense when you think about it - global warming kicks in so scarper off to the relative cool of the North Pole.

But it looks like there's going to be a bit of a crunch when everyone arrives at once, leading to a whole new "super continent", nicknamed "Amasia". Sounds a bit like amnesia but they were trying to portray that it's the clash of the superpowers - America and Asia. It'll be like Pangaea all over again - a heck of a family reunion...

Meanwhile, Australia's off for a cruise through the tropics. So that ski lodge investment's looking kind of dodgy now eh?

But you do have a little time to off-load it. 100 million years, give or take.

And what about the southern hemisphere? That's going to be one huge empty ocean!
