Big Bang Theory (the show not the theory!) snares Hawking and Nimoy

That great geek comedy Big Bang Theory seems to be gathering momentum at last after a period of endless re-runs here in Australia.

It's been a bit like the Simpsons, with the show on virtually every night, and difficult to pick out the new content. Enough to drive a person to illegal downloads even...When will TV stations understand this basic idea?

But stepping down off that particular soapbox, there's news today that Stephen Hawking has made a cameo appearance on the show during - you guessed it - a run-in with Sheldon.

And this just a week after filming with Leonard Nimoy reprising the role he'll never escape - Spock. And Neil Tyson too.
