Sorry the delay on the syndication to Facebook and Twitter through Networked Blogs meant the posts for this article didn't go out until after then launches. To top it, off, my home internet connection died right at the critical moment, so I didn't see them either. Will post some video here when available.

NASA has been trying for a couple of weeks to launch their ATREX mission. And it is looking like the are finally going to get away tonight. In just minutes in fact.
The launch from NASA's Wallops Island range in Virginia will see five small rockets launched each 80 seconds apart. They will each release a chemical tracer to allow scientists to 'see' the winds in space.

At the time of posting, the mission control has been waiting out a boat in the hazard area, and with winds also a risk. We shall see how it goes, as the launch window is close to running out...
