They thought they were far enough away from this glacier in Eqi, Greenland, but they were in for a big surprise in their 5.5 metre boat.
To cap off their day, they hot a small iceberg on the way home, disabling their engine... Time to take a hint?
The rapid melting of Greenland's ice cap has been the subject of a lot of concern recently, with research showing 40% of the Greenland ice shelf having thawed, and with thawing showing across a staggering 97% of the entire shelf. We often here the moniker that Iceland is all green and Greenland is all ice. Perhaps not so for much longer?
