Image is a 4-min exposure from 15H 01m UT to 15H 05m. This bracketed the time when the asteroid was furthest south from the observing site (E07). The image indicates the path was about 7" south of predicted.This is at five hours:
Increased speed, and change in direction as the asteroid gets close to the south pole, are readily apparent. Image is a 3-min exposure. Asteroid is at -85.4 deg.This is at six hours:
Again, a 3-min exposure of the asteroid, whgich is now at -83.8 deg. THe increase in apparent motion over 1 hour is readily seen by comparison with the previous image. This image was affected by thin cloud - which is the cause of the brightness variation in the trail.This photo was taken as the asteroid passed the globular cluster of 47 Tucannae:

JPL report that the pass has now occurred, with a diagram of the orbital path (Flash).
This asteroid called 2012 AD14 is about 40m to 90m in diameter, passed the Earth at eight kilometres per second, and missed us by about 34,400 kilometres. But keep in mind that is closer in that all of our geostationary communications satellites.
