It was only days ago we had Mars Curiosity sending us the one selfie to rule them all.
And now we have this total 360 panorama of her first drill site.
Mars Panorama - Curiosity rover: Martian solar day 177 in New Mexico
Pan all around, zoom right in on Mount Sharp, because that's where she's heading next, close in on the two drill holes, marvel how under that red Martian patina, it's grey inside.
With this wonderful robot, and some great advances in photo processing techniques, we really are getting to know the red planet up real close and in detail.
Who wants to go?
Wow. The same down-the-rabbithole-to-Mars thing happened to me: http://www.lotsinspace.blogspot.com/2012/09/what-i-see-on-mars.html
