Canberra Times 12 February 2010 reported some 'interesting' remarks by ACT Senator Gary Humphries.
So Gary, you seriously think it is "a bit overboard" (woeful pun intended?) for Christmas Island detainees to be allowed to partake in 'luxuries' such as yoga, sewing, bingo, trivia games and boot scooting?
You incarcerate them and their children for years - what the hell do you suggest would be acceptable for them to do all that time???
