Not for one moment do I believe that Iran's nuclear program getting hit by a couple of malicious computer viruses (virii?) is just the random act of black hat hackers.
Neither does Deakin University's Middle East expert Mat Hardy, writing on the issue for The Conversation. He predicts that the perpetrators of this virus attack may have set back Iran's nuclear program by up to two years.
World conflict fiction authors such as Tom Clancy have been having a merry old time for years predicting how Internet infiltration would change the nature of global "black ops". It was only a matter of time before some of the players decided to give it a red hot go. Or more likely, it was only a matter of time before one of the outcomes became public knowledge...
