Ooo - a new YouTube interface! What do you think of it?

So Google's web tools interface purge is continuing at pace. Reader, Blogger, GMail, the Google page itself, the black bar appears and just as quickly is disappearing.

Some like the changes (myself included). Some hate them. No-one has any choice but to suck it up though. Google is going through the pretence of letting you keep the old look at first. But it won't last, so you might as well dive on in...

And now YouTube gets the treatment.

Google's blog is explaining the changes. And if you administer a YouTube channel, there's apparently more design options for you too. Goody...design playtime.



But what I really want to see is Google fixing the sharing tools between its apps to Google+. But Google? That doesn't mean pulling out functions for sharing with Facebook and Twitter - as you have recently done with the mobile version of the Reader page. That is treading dangerously close to your self-imposed "do no evil" line. Most of the world uses these platforms so you must keep the functions in there.
