Our own Nobel prize winner explains his discovery

Canberra's Brian Schmidt of the Australian National University received his shared Nobel Prize for Physics overnight. He jointly discovered that the universe is expanding not steadily but actually accelerating - now blamed on "dark energy". Thanks to this discovery, all bets are off because no-one can figure out what dark energy is.
