Forget timelapse - this gorgeous aurora video is 1x speed, and all the more beautiful for it!

Via @BadAstronomer, this might just be the best aurora footage I've seen from last week's burst of beauty.

And the reason for that is that this is real-time not timelapse. This is what we would see if we all had the dosh to bolt up the the Arctic Circle to witness it first hand.
