New supernova in M95 caught on photo stream

M95 is a beautiful spiral galaxy with a ring and bar about 35 million light years away. In March (yes I know - late to the party with this - a backlog of cool stuff...) the astronomy world was all a-twitter with news that a brand new object had appeared in the galaxy.
