Stuart Atkinson is an enthusiast of the lone surviving Mars rover Opportunity and compiles a blog of photos and details of "Oppy's" exploits called
The Road to Endeavour. Endeavour refers to the Endeavour Crater, the goal at the end of a long journey across the Mars surface.
If you have some reg-and-green 3D glasses, he has plenty of 3D images to really bring it to life.
And a link from the blog goes to the Exploratorium - a true treasure trove of photos from Mars.Every photo - since 2004!
So while I'm up late waiting for the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to complete its return from the International Space Station and splash down in the Pacific, here are some choice photos I found on these two sites.
