The independent review of the Federal Government's Green Loans Scheme has been tabled and it is scathing of the department's handling of the procurements and processing.

But just go straight to the Executive Summary, and be amazed.
What is so disappointing is that - like the insulation scheme - this was a well intentioned program that should have resulted in many big gains for sustainable housing.
Instead we have the reputation of environmental initiatives severely damaged through poor management.
Heads should roll.
