This trailer for a prequel to Battlestar Gallactica went viral when it hit YouTube a couple of days ago, but was just as quickly yanked after complaints from Syfy. Boo!

Guess they realised that once it got out there, the pressure from fans would be irresistible. As it should be! There was even talk that Syfy would demote the whole idea to a webseries.

It sounds and looks like a story well worth telling. The latest from Deadline is that the pilot will go to air, but no series will be commissioned. Double boo!
