A very happy little cancer cell...

Humans love seeing patterns and of course when this one popped up in a cancer cell being studied by researchers in Westmead, the jokes began.

What's happening here is a protein called beta-catenin (the circle), which invades a cell’s nucleus, and causes it to become cancerous.
